Bank Anywhere in the Marshall Islands
The BOMI Debit Card is your all-in-one card for everyday transactions across the Marshall Islands. Use it to make payments at merchant stores, restaurants, and businesses, or withdraw cash — all directly from your BOMI savings or checking account.
Cards are issued at our Uliga (Main Branch) and Ebeye Branch. All applicants must be present in person to apply.
What You Can Do With Your Card
Payments
- Pay at stores, restaurants, and businesses with BOMI POS machines
- Pay bills (NTA, MEC, MWSC & other merchants)
- Transaction fee: $0.25 per payment of $10.00 and above
- No transaction fee for amounts below $9.99
Cash Withdrawals
- Withdraw cash at any BOMI merchant agent location
- Daily limit: $500.00 per 24-hour period
- Minimum fee: $1.00 per withdrawal for amounts $100.00 and below
- 1% fee for withdrawals between $100.01 – $500.00
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must have an existing BOMI savings or checking account
- Valid government-issued ID credentials
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be of able body and mind
- Applicant must be present in person — no applications by proxy or power of attorney
- One debit card per account holder
All applications are subject to OFAC sanction screening and AML provisions of the Banking Act (Sections 168–180).

Fees are subject to change. A $10,000 reportable threshold limit applies per Section 180 of the Banking Act.
How to Apply
- Visit the Uliga Main Branch or Ebeye Branch in person
- Bring your valid ID and existing BOMI account details
- A Debit Card clerk will verify your account and identity
- Complete and sign the Customer Debit Card Application Form
- Your card will be created and your PIN set on the spot
- Avoid weak PIN codes such as 0000, 1234, or 1111
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Card
If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, report it to us immediately. We can place a temporary hold on your account while you locate your card or arrange a replacement.
- Report by phone, email, or in person at any branch
- Card holder must be present to formally disable the card
- Card replacement fee is $20.00 — applies to all customers and employees
- Power of attorney holders cannot request card replacement on behalf of the card holder
For Merchants — POS Machine Services
Accept BOMI Debit Card payments at your business with a BOMI Point of Sale (POS) machine. Merchants receive a share of each cash withdrawal transaction processed.
POS Machine Options
- Purchase outright: $600.00
- Rent-to-own: $10.00/month until $700.00 total is reached
- First month free trial for new merchants
Merchant Requirements
- BOMI business account
- Valid business license
- Valid ID for all signatories
- Internet access at the business location
